18 weeks pregnant and everything seems to be going good---at least I don't have any complaints. I feel great! Works been good so far. I like the drive in every morning. As long as weather co-operates it's really good. I worry a bit about winter driving and the baby. I think it will be fine but there's always a little worry since most my driving will be in the winter months. I told my boss and mostly everyone knows at work that I'm pregnant. I felt bad cuz it was so soon. I didn't know I was expecting when I first started talking to Ron Johnson and Dr. Clarke about working here again. I am really glad I get to work though. I needed to. I was sick and emotional and bored for 3 months and it wasn't fun. Mont and I had more issues to discuss than usual because i was so stressed about being parents and then Mont took the brunt of the hormones and all my worrying.
A lot has happened and Mont and I have gone through a bunch of changes in our life with getting married, living in Olds, then a job change, a move, buying a house, and then discovering that we were going to be parents in less than a year. After the shock wore off we became very excited. I feel so much happier now that the sickness is gone and I am more confident about becoming a parent with Mont. We have a good relationship and we are in a very good situation to bring a child in to. Not only our relationship but Mont has a good job and make pretty good money, we have our own home, and there isn't a whole lot to be overly concerned about with the life we can give to this baby we are being blessing with. And we'll have other children---siblings for this child---in time. As with the timing of this baby I know we'll know the time is right to have the other, of course as the Lord sees fit to bless us with. We feel so blessed to have been able to get pregnant with this one...and so easily....without planning or even trying.
Anyway my stomach is growing. Technically it's not my stomach of course, my uterus. I wore my first maternity shirt yesterday to Stake Conference. Church clothes are so hard to find as far as ones that actually fit now. So I wore a shirt with one of my normal skirts. It made it so much obvious that I'm expecting. MY pants are still fitting just fine. We just bought some low rise stretch denim jeans up in Calgary a week ago. They seem like they'll work just fine to wear through the next 5 months. I got the clothes Holli sent and I Liked most of them. Some cute ones had stains on them so I sent them back to her.
